Gates Reportedly Thinks MSFT Deal With Yahoo Unlikely
Will Microsoft (MSFT) do a deal with Yahoo (YHOO) after all? Apparently not.
Bill Gates says he doesn’t think a deal is likely. At least, that is what the Microsoft chairman told Tom Brokaw, according to a Reuters account of a report on CNBC.
YHOO today is down 37 cents, or 1.7%, to $21.
When Microsoft ran the numbers and said what a pig yahoo was and pulled the offer quick - Yahoo is going down down down - bye bye Jerry & Sue
joe’s still short
lol
Hay that you Carl I. - so what its like to be long this pig - down down down sell now while you have some equity left
yup, its me. and remember this is a “TRADING” blog — we trade when it goes up AND down. So, when all this settles (and it will…), YHOO will go back up due to:
(1) another suitor will come along
(2) economy will improve and the ad market will strengthen
(3) market will turn sideways, then up
this isn’t a fundamentals problem as so lovingly overhyped by all you shorts and the press. So — I’m buying more, and when you’re ready to cover those shorts, I’ll be more than happy to sell you some of mine.
Don’t rule out ATT or a foreign suitor.
Watch for a big suprise.
I truly think it was a cultural divide- here are y! employees decrying their adversary, the big, bad, MSFT… now how are they supposed to unite under the evil empire? This is why a takeover would not happen IMO.
fundamentals and real
