Disney’s Iger: We’re Not Buying AOL
Disney (DIS) is not going to buy AOL from Time Warner (TWX), Disney CEO Robert Iger said today. Earlier this week, Time Warner said it is open to a possible combination involving AOL. There have been rumors lately that Yahoo (YHOO) might acquire AOL in an effort to avoid a pending takeover bid from Microsoft (MSFT).
Iger also said the company has sold some 4 million movies and 40 to 50 million TV shows from its ABC network over Apple’s (AAPL) iTunes in the arrangement’s first 18 months.
what arrangement is that? does it have anything to do with aol?
