Verizon (VZ) this morning reported fourth quarter revenue of $23.8 billion, with EPS of 37 cents GAAP, 62 cents non-GAAP. That was in line with Street estimates of $23.96 billion and 62 cents.

The company added 2 million wireless customers in the quarter, increasing the total to 65.7 million. The wireless segment had 13.3% revenue growth, including 53% growth in data revenue.

Verizon added 226,000 FiOS TV customers, to boost the total to 943,000 at year end; the company has since topped 1 million subscribers to its TV service.

In a conference call this morning, Verizon said it is not seeing any impact on its business from a slowing economy.

In pre-market trading, Verizon this morning is down 26 cents, at $37.50.
